Welcome to Moray Tourism

Welcome to www.moraytourism.org. This site has been developed to involve stakeholders in the Moray Tourism Audit, a HIE Moray initiative being managed by The Stevens View Partnership. This project aims to take stock of the Tourism Product and market trends and to work with stakeholders to establish a vision for the area based on a strong knowledge of this product.

More specifically, this site will provide the following information

2. News from the industry

3. Best practice and case studies - national and international

4. An overview of the Moray Tourism Audit project aiming to create a vision for the future of tourism in the area

5. A discussion forum whereby topics of interest may be debated by stakeholders

The Stevens View Partnership brings international experience of best practise and innovation in Tourism that is well respected throughout Europe with recent projects including strategic advice to Northern Ireland Tourist Board on Major investment Projects, advising the Welsh Local Government Organisation on Destination Management and numerous private sector tourism and leisure clients on investment opportunities. Terry Stevens and Yvonne Crook look forward to working with HIE Moray and other stakeholders to maximise this valuable opportunity to create a vision for Tourism in Moray in the future, moving into a more competitive tourism industry.

Speaking for HIE Moray, Martin Johnson of HIE Moray said: "In order to identify the most effective way of maximising future tourism growth in Moray, we have to first take stock of its assets, its current performance and the challenges and opportunities it faces.
